Parts

Part families, each with its own process.

Bone screws, manifolds, impellers and structural brackets — geometries where the process is dictated by the part, not by the department. Standard production tolerances of ±.0005″ on turned diameters and ±.001″ on milled features, with critical features held to ±.0001″ where the print requires it.

Part geometry dictates process more than any line on a router does. A cannulated bone screw and a bladed impeller share a tolerance philosophy and nothing else: workholding, tool reach, coolant strategy, operation sequence and inspection method all change with the family. Each page below sets out the materials we run for that part type, the tolerances we hold, the machines that do the work and the secondary operations and documentation that ship with it.

Certified stock comes from approved mills with material certification supplied on shipment. Outside processing — passivation, anodize, plating, heat treat, balancing, pressure testing and NDT — is managed through our approved vendor base, with certifications returned in the shipping package.

See the machines behind this work on the equipment page, the disciplines on services, the stock on materials, or send a print through the RFQ form.
